Before i post songs to my Hollywood/Bollywood Blog i must research, so here is an interesting read... this song brings a smile to my face for silly reasons... better than hearing or watching Vidyas Oh la la! I find it so cheap... anyway... now for some facts...

This song was initially leaked on the Internet, and the makers, having noticed its popularity, decided to go for an official release.

The lyrics portray the feelings of an average Indian boy, who has failed in love, or who has some problems with his girl.

The song crossed a crore (10 million) hits on YouTube on 30 November, 2011.

The song is suitable only for bathroom singers. Its simplistic and rustic beats make it more catchy to the commoner.

Javed Akhtar slams Kolaveri Di!

While the entire nation, including superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth, is hooked to Dhanush's Kolaveri Di, lyricist Javed Akhtar has slammed the song.

He tweeted: "KOLAVARI-D". Every one is praising the robes but the emporer is naked. Tune ordinary, singing substandard. words an insult to sensibility.

So what if the song has a few critics, it's being praised by millions. The song has got over 10 million hits on YouTube.

Shes finally in the Bis big 4 house, and thats pamela andersan, the baywtch and playboy girl! She entered into the house wearing a white sari, bangles, and a bindi, while she left her beautiful blonde hair open. She looked extremely ravishing! I remember her so well since i saw her in the movie barbwire and her oomph factor hasn't lessened at all. The next and first day in the big boss house, she wore a bring orange sarong, swept the floors and helped in watching vessels. She was so cooperative and tried her best to understand what the others were discussing, even though it was hindi they were speaking, and poor pam, all she knew was 'namaste and shukriya' but later she showed great keenness to learn Hindi. People greet with a namaste and shukriya means 'thank you'. But well, she was so sweet and went out her way to praise another inmate who was a little weak in english, telling him that he speaks english much better than what she knew about hindi.

At 42 she danced to our Bollywood's very popluar number "dhak, dhak" with other inmates. OMG, i was so glued on to my screen b'coz the song actually features bollywood actress madhuri (my all time fav) dixit dancing to her best who is also the lead actress in the movie. I always thought no one could beat madhuri but pam did a great job by her western cum desi moves, and i think she had left the other female inmates conscious about how they danced!

Its her first time in India and shes here for a reason, to spread awareness, and was welcomed very warmly at the airport it seems. But i guess the Bay watch star didn't know what was coming for her when she reached with all the hulla and commotion created by the gathered crowd waiting to get a glimpse of her. Or maybe she knew, after all its India and India is where commotion can be created for just about anything! haha... but India is truly a very warm and hospitable country to its foreign guests unlike other countries, and am proud of it and proud to be part of it.

Supermodel-turned-talk show host Tyra Banks shocked U.S. TV audiences on Friday, when she acted out a rabies-induced fit during her program.

Banks took the stage explaining she had been bitten by a rabid dog before the show and had received treatment for the fatal viral disease, which can cause erratic behaviour.

She explained, "I'm not 100 per cent today, I'm not feeling great. A friggin' dog bit me... I had to get rushed to the hospital and the doctors... tested me. The dog had rabies and I had to get a shot. I'm feeling a little weird but I'm OK."

The celebrity wedding between tennis star Sania Mirza and Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik took place on Monday (April 12) as the two families advanced the much hyped marriage by three days.

Originally, the marriage was to take place on April 15 although stories on the re-scheduling of the marriage kept coming in the media.

Earlier in the day, Sania's spokesperson Rucha Nayak said the 'nikah' will be performed soon but did not divulge the venue details.

"I will like to confirm that the nikah of Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik will be taking place shortly. The venue and timing cannot be confirmed as of now due to security reasons," Nayak said.

"This is a very personal thing in Shoaib and Sania's life. We hope you respect the sentiments of their families," she added.

However, sources said the marriage was to be solemnised at 1 pm at Taj Krishna hotel.

Nayak though gave details on the outfits the couple will wear for the nikah.

"Sania will be wearing a red saree that her mother had worn 25 years ago for her own nikah. Shoaib will be wearing a black sherwani which was made by Shantanu and Nikhil," Nayak said.

Giving details of the marriage-related ceremonies she said that 'Mehendi' is scheduled for April 13, Sangeet on April 14 and reception will be held on April 15 as scheduled.

The build up to their marriage has been controversial due to Shoaib's first marriage with a local girl Ayesha Siddiqui.

Ayesha had alleged that Shoaib married her over phone before dumping her without a divorce due to her weight problems.

Shoaib initially denied the allegations and claimed that Ayesha duped him into a phone marriage by sending photographs of a different woman. The all-rounder, however, finally agreed to divorce her after being pressurised by community leaders.

Shoaib Malik has divorced his first wife Ayesha Siddiqui

Shoaib Malik has divorced his first wife Ayesha Siddiqui, ahead of his planned marriage to Indian tennis player Sania Mirza.

Shams Babar, a friend of the Siddiqui family, said Malik had acknowledged his marriage to Ayesha despite earlier denials.

“Both Shoaib and Ayesha have signed the divorce papers today,” says Babar.

Under the compromise, Shoaib will pay Rs 15,000 as maintenance to Ayesha at the rate of Rs 5000 per month for three months as per Sharia (Islamic law), Shafi, Sania's uncle, announced at a joint press conference at the residence of Ayesha Siddiqui.

Ayesha's mother Farisa said as decided by the elders of the community, it (compromise) has been done. I am very happy about it. All community leaders have come to him (Shoaib) to do the settlement and he has done it.

"My daughter had to pass through hardships. Finally justice has been done to my daughter. She is relieved and very happy", she said.

The Siddiqui family last week filed a police complaint against Malik over his plans to wed Mirza.

Confesses Maradona: "It's been a harrowing time for me. I've given the role everything because I believed in the film. It's the story of a pushy mother and a male child who's pushed into the movies dressed as a girl. My character grows up confused about his sexuality. I had to do many things that didn't come naturally to me because I'm a straight guy. I had to kiss a man, get pushed around by him."

Worst of all was the cross-dressing scenes.

"When I came on the set in a dress wearing stocking and lipstick my director Sudipto-da freaked out. He was so apologetic. He asked everyone to leave the sets. I told him to chill. But in the nights, I just couldn't sleep. I was harrowed. Luckily, my parents supported me. They saw the film and loved my performance. My mom didn't flinch when I stripped in front of my screen-mother," he says.

The character has changed Maradona's life.

"I know I'm straight. But playing a guy confused about his sexuality can shake you completely."

The boy can breathe a sigh of relief about his second film "Dunno Y ...Na Jaane Kyun".

"Here, I'm completely straight. In fact, I'm straight in 'Pankh' as well. But throughout the film I had to keep trying to prove to the world that I am not gay."

In the climax of the film, Maradona had to take off all his clothes and show his screen mom Lilette that he's a man.

"Right through the film she keeps taunting me that I am no man. Finally, in a fit of rage I had to undress and show her that I am a man. It was a very difficult scene to do. Fortunately, Lilette made me very comfortable. Before the scene she hugged me and said it'd be fine. And it was," he says

For Maradona, the worst part was being kissed by a man.

"My co-star Amit Purohit had to kiss me right here at Marine Drive. Luckily, it was night and not too many people were around."

Ironically, in his second film Maradona has an affair with his sister-in-law married to his gay brother.

"I can't reveal much about the part. But I got to work with screen divas like Zeenat Aman and Helen. Not bad for my second film."

As for being accepted as a gay role-model after the release of "Pankh", Maradona says, "Why not? If people of either sex find me attractive I'm fine by it as long as I remain happily heterosexual in real life."

They worked together in films like Deewar, Trishul, Namakhalal, Kala Patthar, ‘Kabhi Kabhie etc.. but when he saw his old time co-star attending the awards in the wheel chair, he was shocked!

Big B was supposed to hand over the Lifetime achievement Award to Shashi Kapoor at the Filmfare Awards. But he didn't attend and the award was presented over to Shashi Kapoor by Shabana Azmi.

Salman Khan hospitalized for chest congestion

Salman was shooting for big brother Arbaz Khans debut production Dabang.

A scene required Salman to shoot in close proximity with the fire and though everyone insisted on a single shot, the actor took several takes before the scene was canned and ended up breathless because of the smoke.

"Salman wanted the scene to be flawless and ended up getting breathless since he was shooting close to so much fire. He had to be rushed to the hospital after the scene was successfully canned," said a sources in the film unit.

In spite of the doctor's advice to take rest for the next couple of days Salman went back to shoot for the other scenes the very next day.

"It escalated into him being violent towards me and it was ugly."

"That whole night was not part of my plan."

There is disheartening news about Natasha Richardson's accident which happened few days ago while taking skiing lesions with her private instructor. She wasn't wearing a helmet at the time and as she neared the bottom of a hill, she fell.

She seemed fine as quoted "She was laughing and joking and she walked to her room on her own," said a spokesperson for the ski resort. But within an hour she was rushed to hospital, to the ICU, after complains of a headache.

Doctors say she is suffering from a blood leakage between the brain and skull and she need be detached from life support because she is breathing, yet brain dead. Nothing is official yet.

"I enjoyed doing the stunts," Pooja Bedi tells us. "I had to do stunts, which I had never seen in my life before. We [the contestants] are all different personalities -- some are mothers, some are young and there is even a television bahu. All of us have worked hard and have been support system to each other during the show."

"I hate snakes. And I was surrounded by 70 snakes. I was almost dead! I screamed at the top of my voice, became hysterical and cried on television, which I have never done before. There were a few contestants, who loved the snakes and were even petting them.

"A lot of stunts were unexpected, and gave us a shock," she says. "But it was a thrilling experience before every stunt. We would always try to figure out by Akshay's costumes what the stunt would be. If he is wearing black, then we would guess it is something to do with scorpions."

Her take on Akshay shooting with the beautiful girls without make up: "He would be horrified seeing 13 actors without make-up!" she laughed. "Everyday we would put nice make-up. But with one stunt in the water, and all our make-up vanished.

"We were very scared but Akshay was encouraging," she continued. "Everyone has seen the actor in Akshay, now they will get to see the real him. He is the ultimate action guru when it comes to performing these death-defying stunts. He was fun, motivating and a great learning experience to work with."

"I want the next season of Fear Factor to be in 3D format because the audience should experience the fear that we go through when the stunt is done from a height," she adds.

I feel this is a funny coincidence,” she quips. Gautami rues the fact that she had to decline a lot of offers while she was working for Kyunkii....

“When I was working, a lot of people approached me and a few of them were really interesting. But, I could not take any of them because I was already tied up with Kyunkii.... Now, I have done with Kyunkii... and am free, not many interesting offers are coming my way,” she says.

Gautami has also refused Ekta Kapoor’s magnum opus Mahabharata. Gautami and Ram’s daughter Sia is just two years old and she does not want to get herself engrossed in too much work. In fact, when she got the offer to play Tulsi, she made it clear to Balaji Telefilms that she wouldn’t be able to give it more than seven hours per day.

“Balaji has been extremely kind to me and I only shot for a limited time frame every day besides getting offs on Friday and Saturday every week. I turned down Mahabharata without even asking what the character was all about. If I would have taken that up, I would have to shoot more than 12 hours each day. Mythologicals are all about costumes and special dialogues; so almost three hours would be spent on just the preparations,” Gautami says.

As her two-year-old Sia is growing up, Gautami wants to spend more time with her. “Ram is shooting for more than 12 hours each day; so it is impossible for him to be by her side all the time. So, I want to be with her, as it is extremely important to be with a kid when she is growing up,” she ends.

Hansika Motwani to play a role opposite Govinda

Hansika, the one time tiny tot has sprung up soo soon! Soon we are going to watch her in a comedy opposite Govinda who is on his 40's, while Hansika is just 17. Acting with stars more than half her age, doesnt affect her in any way.

"I am not Hansika when I am playing a role. It is the character I am playing, so the age of my co-star does not matter to me at all," Hansika says.

Koi... Mil Gaya, Escape from Taliban, Jaago and Aabra Ka Daabra were some of the few films Hansika started her career with as a little girl, but at 16, she debuted as a full-fledged actress in the film Aap Kaa Surroor opposite composer-turned-singer-turned-actor Himesh Reshammiya.

"As an actor you have to play a character when you are asked to. Even if it is a 70-year-old character you have to perform it."

Now Hansika will be seen with the 40-plus Govinda in the forthcoming comedy Money Hai To Honey Hai. She doesn't mind the age gap and says getting an opportunity to work with a senior actor like him was a privilege.

"I consider myself very lucky to have worked with Govinda. I have learnt so much from him and it will definitely be useful to me in future. I think it is a big opportunity for any actor to work with him."

Hansika is playing the role of a television actor in the comedy.

"I play the character of Ashima Kapoor who is a television actor and wants to make it big in the film industry. The film is about the journey of the actress into the film industry."

She has also acted in serials like Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand, Hum Do Hain Na and Tum Bin.

Hansika gives credit to her family for shaping her career. "I idolise my mother and attribute my success to her. Without my mother and my family's support, I would not have reached this place."
