Madonna to restart her film career with romantic script

Pop diva Madonna wants to relaunch her movie career by making a love story, but says she won't star in it.

The singer, who has starred in a string of flops, including Swept Away and The Next Best Thing, is currently working on the script of the film, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"I just finished writing a script and I am trying to get funding and casting for it, believe it or not. It's called We and it's a love story. It is two parallel love stories told from a woman's point of view, obviously," said Madonna.

"One is a historical story that took place with the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. And the other is one I made up about a couple in New York," she added.

Madonna isnt going to divorce Guy Richie

Are you one of the well wishers of Madonna and Guy, and you don't want that they breakup then theres good news. Madonna isn't going to divorce her husband Guy Richie and has also denied having an affair with Alex Rodriguez.

"My husband and I are not planning on getting a divorce. I brought my kids to a Yankee game. I am not romantically involved in any way with Alex Rodriguez. I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage or what spiritual path he may choose to study," she said.

The couple married in December 2000, in Scotland. They have three kids, Lourdes from Madonna's first husband Sean Penn, Rocco their own offspring and David Banda, whose mother died after giving birth to him.

Is Madonna divorcing Guy Richie?

Questions have risen whether Madonna and Guy Richie are heading for a split? Both were said to have sought advice from divorce lawyers and that's when rumours about their split emerged.

It is heard from a known source, that Madonna chose to seek help from Fiona Shackleton, who represented Sir Paul McCartney in his high profile divorce case with Heather Mills. Ritchie has sought help from a lesser-known legal firm in London.

At the Cannes film festival, Madonna was seen pale and under strain.. Guy looked terribly miserable!

Some say they are definitely in for a divorce, some insist that the couple are happy together.
