Questions have risen whether Madonna and Guy Richie are heading for a split? Both were said to have sought advice from divorce lawyers and that's when rumours about their split emerged.
It is heard from a known source, that Madonna chose to seek help from Fiona Shackleton, who represented Sir Paul McCartney in his high profile divorce case with Heather Mills. Ritchie has sought help from a lesser-known legal firm in London.
At the Cannes film festival, Madonna was seen pale and under strain.. Guy looked terribly miserable!
Some say they are definitely in for a divorce, some insist that the couple are happy together.

The clash of Aishwarya and Abhishek
Saturday, 28 June 2008
What is it that has come to our ears? Abhi-Ash's heated argument at the IIFA Awards ceremony in Bangkok! The couple who seem very much in love and happily married, were heard screaming at the top of their voices after storming out of the stage into their hotel room.
The trouble started when Aishwarya was being over expressive at the award function in company of actor Kunal Kapoor. Abhi who did not appreciate that requested her to keep low but she still continued grabbing attention. Abhi then took her to the hotel lobby and tried to put his point across to her. The actress however blasted at him over. Didn't i always comment on her over-artificial expressions??
Abhishek couldn't bare Ash's blasts on him and asked his personal security to escort his wife back to their hotel room! isn't that what we hear of all filmy couples? the first step to boredom-Ash? or maybe the first step to craving freedom-Abhi?
Whatever it is, we all want to wish the couple a happily married life forever!

Gautami is all set for a break post Kynkii..
Wednesday, 25 June 2008
After playing Tulsi in Kynkii... for exactly one year, Gautami is all set to take a ‘much needed’ break. The actor is going on a long holiday with her family: husband Ram Kapoor and daughter Sia.
Says Gautami, “After working in a daily soap for a long time, I really needed a break. Daily soaps are damn tiring. Now that the show is over, we have decided to go on a holiday which will span almost two weeks. We are going to London first, and then we will spend the rest of the time in Spain.”
Gautami says she has no complaints with her term ending in Kyunkii… She says that, she is, in fact, very happy, that her entry and exit have been one of the talking points in the TV industry.
Interestingly, Gautami started shooting for the soap on June 5 last year, and this year, her term ended on the same day. “It is quite ironical that my start and end date is on the same day. I feel this is a funny coincidence,” she quips. Gautami rues the fact that she had to decline a lot of offers while she was working for Kyunkii....
“When I was working, a lot of people approached me and a few of them were really interesting. But, I could not take any of them because I was already tied up with Kyunkii.... Now, I have done with Kyunkii... and am free, not many interesting offers are coming my way,” she says.
Gautami has also refused Ekta Kapoor’s magnum opus Mahabharata. Gautami and Ram’s daughter Sia is just two years old and she does not want to get herself engrossed in too much work. In fact, when she got the offer to play Tulsi, she made it clear to Balaji Telefilms that she wouldn’t be able to give it more than seven hours per day.
“Balaji has been extremely kind to me and I only shot for a limited time frame every day besides getting offs on Friday and Saturday every week. I turned down Mahabharata without even asking what the character was all about. If I would have taken that up, I would have to shoot more than 12 hours each day. Mythologicals are all about costumes and special dialogues; so almost three hours would be spent on just the preparations,” Gautami says.
As her two-year-old Sia is growing up, Gautami wants to spend more time with her. “Ram is shooting for more than 12 hours each day; so it is impossible for him to be by her side all the time. So, I want to be with her, as it is extremely important to be with a kid when she is growing up,” she ends.

Hansika Motwani to play a role opposite Govinda
Hansika, the one time tiny tot has sprung up soo soon! Soon we are going to watch her in a comedy opposite Govinda who is on his 40's, while Hansika is just 17. Acting with stars more than half her age, doesnt affect her in any way.
"I am not Hansika when I am playing a role. It is the character I am playing, so the age of my co-star does not matter to me at all," Hansika says.
Koi... Mil Gaya, Escape from Taliban, Jaago and Aabra Ka Daabra were some of the few films Hansika started her career with as a little girl, but at 16, she debuted as a full-fledged actress in the film Aap Kaa Surroor opposite composer-turned-singer-turned-actor Himesh Reshammiya.
"As an actor you have to play a character when you are asked to. Even if it is a 70-year-old character you have to perform it."
Now Hansika will be seen with the 40-plus Govinda in the forthcoming comedy Money Hai To Honey Hai. She doesn't mind the age gap and says getting an opportunity to work with a senior actor like him was a privilege.
"I consider myself very lucky to have worked with Govinda. I have learnt so much from him and it will definitely be useful to me in future. I think it is a big opportunity for any actor to work with him."
Hansika is playing the role of a television actor in the comedy.
"I play the character of Ashima Kapoor who is a television actor and wants to make it big in the film industry. The film is about the journey of the actress into the film industry."
She has also acted in serials like Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand, Hum Do Hain Na and Tum Bin.
Hansika gives credit to her family for shaping her career. "I idolise my mother and attribute my success to her. Without my mother and my family's support, I would not have reached this place."
Saifs temptations over Kareena
The lack of communication is likely to affect any relation that's stands in the mid of a rock(not exactly at the tip).. That's exactly where Saifeena's is standing.. Kareena and saif? as the two love birds are distanced away from each other due to work. I say in the mid because, as we all know about mom Babita's disapproval of their relationship and saif's sticky nature.. he's the one who accompanies her to every event he's not even invited to! Hope kareena's enjoying all the stickiness or else... you never know??
Despite all the obstacles they seem to be passing through, these two are leaving no stone unturned to keep their relationship intact. While Kareena was performing for Shahrukh Khan's show 'Temptations Reloaded'. Saif was in London, shooting for 'Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic' when he happened to miss Kareena and flew all the way to Amsterdam to be with his lady love..

Rajinikanth as Pawan Kalyan

Kamal Haasan’s Dasavatharam (also spelt Dasavathaaram) wowed the entire nation. Now, the buzz is that Rajinikanth will appear in 20 different costumes in a single song. The song has been picturised on Rajinikanth and Nayantara in his forthcoming Kathanayakudu
The great news for his fans is that all the 20 costumes would be from his previous films, so they can all have a great time, identifying his different styles or ‘avataars’! Not only that, for his Telugu audiences, Rajni will also come as Pawan Kalyan in Jalsa.

When Dolly Parton was toasted at the prestigious Kennedy Center Honors in December 2006, much of the press surrounding the event focused not only on Dolly, but on Jessica Simpson, who flubbed a performance, then left the stage in tears.
Jessica had been divorced from Nick Lachey for less than six months at the time, and on reflection, she really wasn’t ready to perform in public.
"I completely tortured ‘9 to 5,’" Jessica told the national radio show GAC Nights: Live From Nashville. "I messed the lyrics up, and my boyfriend broke up with me that day. I couldn’t even focus on stage, and I was in front of the president and everybody. Afterwards, my chin started quivering. I just started crying...and then I walked offstage, and I said, 'I will absolutely never sing again, ever in my life.' It made me afraid to go on stage. After going through a divorce, I was always used to my ex-husband standing side stage when I was done. I only performed twice during that [time], and every time I broke down onstage crying. I was dealing with a lot of pain and trying to heal, and it was such a process."
Obviously Jessica changed her mind about never singing again. She’s working on her first country album, and who was among the first to offer encouragement? Well, that would be Dolly.
"Afterwards, " Jessica noted, "Dolly was like, ‘Don’t you let that get you down. I want to hear you keep singing.’ I was just like, ‘I’m so sorry.’ And she’s like, ‘I don’t even want you to apologize. Let’s take a picture, and we’ll end up working together someday.’ And then she wrote me a letter, ‘cause all the media and the press were really, really hard on me, and I knew that was going to happen. And she even went as far as to say, ‘I will always love you.’ I just cried and cried reading the letter that she sent me, but it was so encouraging. "
That makes it quite appropriate that Dolly has a song slated for Jessica’s first country album. It’s titled "Do You Know," and Dolly will be singing on the song, as well.

Karan Johar is the latest celebrity blogger
Saturday, 21 June 2008
colleagues Amtiabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan, ace filmmaker Karan Johar has also started blogging, but says he is doing it to put his thoughts into writing rather than vocalising them all the time.
'I've always been a closet writer. I've been offered newspaper columns that I almost did, but never got down to,' Karan told IANS.
'I feel a blog would be a good way to express my thoughts on cinema. Things that don't routinely get space in the traditional media outlets these days,' added the director who is all set to direct his next 'My Name is Khan' with Shah Rukh Khan.
Karan promises to be regular.
'But not compulsive. I don't see myself blogging from my sets when I start shooting 'Khan...' or when I'm abroad for my various events.'
Once a week on the blog is all you'll get of Karan.
'I've a staff to take care of the blog. And I certainly won't be peering anxiously into it every day. And the blog isn't to discuss my daily routine or my sexuality, although both may crop up when the need arises. But I'm not turning blogger to blabber about my life. God knows, I do enough of that on a daily basis.'
So is it lucrative?
'You mean am I getting paid to write the blog? Who's going to pay me to hear me talk on the net when there's so much of the Karan Johar wisdom being spewed in every possible place? No, I'm doing the blog for free.'
But if you think Karan's relationship with the media is going to change, then think again.
'My relationship with the media is an uneasy but permanent marriage. We may quarrel in the morning over breakfast. But we are friends at the end of the day. And everything goes back to normal the next morning.'

Eva Longoria ready to be mom?
Eva's reportedly pregnant.. what are all these young women up to? seems motherhood is turning more fashionable these days. No body wants to wait till they're in their 30's or 40's.. the 20 something mothers are in vogue!
Eva is not pregnant,” her stylist Robert Verdi told PEOPLE during a viewing party for his new show, She’s Got the Look.
And Verdi insists he has first-hand knowledge. “I’m not her gynecologist, but I am her stylist,” he explained. “I see her naked. I see her boobs! That’s the first place it would show, and it’s not showing!”
As for the Ferragamo photos, Verdi – who was with Longoria during the shopping expedition – said the shots are simply misleading. “Eva was holding a handbag that she bought in the crook of her arm,” he said. “The manager came over and said to her, ‘I love that bag.’ But in the photos, it looks like the woman is gesturing to her midsection. It’s too funny.”
Of course, this is not the first time pregnancy rumors have swirled around the 33-year-old star. Earlier this year, she denied similar reports – saying she just gained weight during the writers’ strike. “I’ve been cooking and eating, cooking and eating,” she said at the time. “I keep telling everyone that I’ve gained 10 pounds just being on strike.”
So now you know the fingers pointed to the lovely bag in Eva's hand, not her tummy!

Dasavatharam-review
Dasavatharam, which was under production for almost two years, has finally hit the marquee and in style. Kamal and the marvel of technology rule this venture of Aascar Films directed by K S Ravikumar who has packaged Kamal's dream with aplomb.
It would be an uphill task in understanding Dasavatharam if one does not pay adequate attention to the opening stadium scene where Kamal as scientist Govinda Ramasamy, renders an acceptance speech for all the praise he receives. The ensuing 12th century sequences will not fall into place if one does not concentrate on this scene.
Kamal as Rangarajan Nambi, in a gravity-defying movement, flies from the bottom of the statue and thrashes the baddies who are involved in removing the Lord Ranganathar idol. Napoleon plays Kulothunga Chozhan who is an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva. He agrees to pardon Kamal if he just chants Om Nama Shivayah but the latter meets his watery grave by saying Om Namo Narayanaya along with the idol.
Sharpness of dialogues exchanged between Kamal's family and Napoleon in this scene is commendable and a testimony to the clashes between Saivism and Vaishnavism that persisted in those earlier times. Napoleon, albeit in a small role, dazzles in his performance as the Saivite King. His arrogant countenance and 'mightier than thou' body language reiterate the experience of this veteran star in filmdom.
Cut to the present time again: Govinda Ramasamy (Kamal) is a scientist working in America, researching the components of biological warfare which are potent enough to wipe out the human race. The story that follows shows Kamal in a race to save mankind from the hands of his superior who purloins this dangerous chemical. His struggle begins in America and ends in Chennai on the 26th of December 2004 - during the Tsunami.
Out of the ten Kamals, the first one who walks away with plaudits is Indian RAW agent Balram Naidu who is presented with little make up. His Telugu dialogues are enjoyable and remind us of the SPB of Guna. Next is Boovaraghan with his Nellai Tamil. His body language is exemplary. The Japanese kung fu exponent comes third in this avatar race with limited dialogues and moderate make-up. The remaining Kamals fail to make an impression.
The theatre broke into raptures when the American Kamal asks the Japanese Kamal if he remembers Hiroshima to which the Japanese Kamal counters with, 'Do you remember Pearl Harbor?' Dialogue writing in the movie needs to be singled out.
The filmmakers ought to have done a better job of the poorly conceived Mallika Sherawat song sequence. The lady has disappointed her fans. Asin has done her job as best as she could, given her hysterical character. M. S. Bhaskar tries to make us laugh.
Cinematographer Ravi Varman has worked in sync with the story line and his camera movements are commendable. He has used artificial lighting well, especially with the lengthy shots where more than two Kamals appear on screen. Himesh shines in the Kallai mattum kandal and Mukunda numbers, while Devi Sri Prasad has done a good job with re-recording.
The usual filmi gimmicks such as grandma-Kamal walking on the shoulders of people, and Bush-Kamal trying to act hip could have been avoided.
In short, with unexpected twists and turns missing in the film, Dasavatharam is a make-up magic show that disappoints as drama and satisfies as a technical showpiece. Atheist Kamal seems to be indirectly affirming the existence of God here.

Come Friday and the fight of the releases take place. Films like Sikander kher's 'Summer 2007', Kamal Kamal Hassan's 'Dashavataram' and M Night Shyamalan's 'The happening' all set to release today. There is also Priyadarshan's laugh riot 'Mere Baap Pehle Aap' added to the Three.
Which movie works in whose favour, we'll watch that later but according to me.. i think Kamals movie will cause much hype as the movie is heard to have kamal in 10 different roles, and he's always a genius in his work. Shyam's movie always has uS at the edge of our seatS, so this movie could over shadow Kamals movie but not necessary. We just have to wait and watch!

Rakhi admits: what should or shoulnt be in sexiness kit
Rakhi Sawant’s sexiness kit would be devoid of a bra. Confused? Well, that’s our desi item bomb’s reply to Hollywood actress Carmen Electra’s concept of a sexiness kit.
Electra recently said that the best way to snare a man is to keep a ‘sexiness kit’ with you at all times. “Keep a sexiness kit in the car or in a drawer at work with the essentials in it — perfume, lip gloss, and a pair of heels because they’ll help you showcase your legs better.
Knowing you look hot also boosts your all-around confidence,” said the Baywatch babe.
Sawant completely agrees with Electra and says, “If I am wearing an evening gown, I’ll make sure I am not wearing a bra. I hate wearing it,” says the item girl who admits that she would, however, “wear a panty”.
“My lips are very pouty, my eyes are very sexy and my face is very glamorous.” She would besides keeping a bra at bay like to accentuate her assets with a nude lip gloss, mascara and eyebrow powder to make the eyebrows thicker and darker. The item girl also feels that a woman should always smell good. “Ladki main khusboo na ho, to mazaa nahi aayega.”
And her seduction tool is a D&G perfume.
The X-factor
While Sawant’s kit is loaded or rather unloaded with some ‘essentials’, actress Soha Ali Khan doesn’t need to lug around with one.
“My sexiness kit is always with me because it’s in my personality,” says the actress.
For Khan, sexiness primarily lies in one’s personality and then comes any other tangible item. “At the most, kajal comes handy. It helps sex up your look as they says eyes are the windows to your soul.”
Echoes actress and anchor Pooja Bedi, “Sexiness is inherent. You can beautify yourself with cosmetic surgeries, but that X-factor cannot be achieved with the help of tangible products.” Bedi’s votes go for a well groomed, clean and a happy person.
Model Sonalika Sahay moves beyond the kajal, lip gloss routine and calls for a kit that is rather huge. “A bright, flashy car would do the trick. Men are suckers for cars. They go for details like the wheels and the colour,” says Sahay and adds a red sedan works wonders.
“Besides the car, a watch is very feminine. Perhaps a Dior watch should be a must have in your kit,” she says.

Anjelina Jolie in Vanity fair
Friday, 6 June 2008
Angelina Jolie shares her innermost feelings about life, love, marriage, and her career with writer Rich Cohen. The full story will be available on VF.com on Monday, but in the meantime here is an exclusive preview of her frank remarks about birth, babies, nannies, and more.
Angelina Jolie on being pregnant:“I love it. It makes me feel like a woman. It makes me feel that all the things about my body are suddenly there for a reason. It makes you feel round and supple, and to have a little life inside you is amazing. Also, I’m fortunate. I think some women have a different experience depend-ing on their partner. I think that affects it. I happen to be with somebody who finds pregnancy very sexy. So that makes me feel very sexy.”
Angelina Jolie on her international family:“When I was growing up I wanted to adopt, because I was aware there were kids that didn’t have parents. It’s not a humanitarian thing, because I don’t see it as a sacrifice. It’s a gift. We’re all lucky to have each other. I look at Shiloh—because, obviously, physically, she is the one that looks like Brad and I when we were little—and say, ‘If these were our brothers and sisters, how much would we have known by the time we were six that it took into our 30s and 40s to figure out?’ I suppose I’m giving them the childhood I always wished I had.”
Angelina Jolie on Shiloh’s birth:“We were in this little hospital in Africa when Shi was born. I don’t think there was anybody else in the hospital. It was just a little cottage, the three of us. It ended up being the greatest thing…. I had a C-section and I found it fascinating. I didn’t find it a sacrifice and I didn’t find it a painful experience. I found it a fascinating miracle of what a body can do.”
Angelina Jolie on nannies:“We don’t ever have anybody spend the night. We may have to adjust that when the next one comes. But we do have ladies that work with us, and they’re also from different cultures and back-grounds. One lady’s a Vietnamese teacher—wonderful. One is of Congolese descent from Bel-gium. Another is from the States and is really creative and does art programs.”
Angelina Jolie on artists as parents:“Artists raise their kids differently,” she said. “We communicate to the point where we probably annoy our children. We have art around the house, we have books, we go to plays, we talk. Our focus is art and painting and dress-up and singing. It’s what we love. So I think you can see how artists in some way raise other artists.”
