Mariah Carey confesses to being Mentally and Physically Abused

Feeling sympathy and knowing exactly how Rihanna felt of being assaulted by Chris Brown last February, Mariah Carey admitted that she used to be in the same circumstance. Mariah spilled out that she was mentally and physically abused. In "Larry King Live" which was aired on November 3, Mariah said, "I was very sequestered, as you know, when I first started out ... I wasn't really allowed out of the house, so I can't imagine what she went through."

She adds, "Emotionally, mentally, in other ways ... It's scary," the songstress who identifies herself as "an alto with a five-octave range" added. "You know, I just think you get into a situation and you feel locked in. If your situation is similar to one of the situations I've been in - which I won't harp on - for me, to really get out, it was difficult because there was a connection that was not only a marriage but a business thing, where the person was in control of my life."

On rumors of her pregnancy, she says she isn't the type that would reveal to the world she pregnant and she needs a nanny to care for the kids. She wants to concentrate on her work for now and doesn't believe in being a half-way mom! So, i guess when the time is right for the pregnancy, she'll be the happiest to be a full time mom.
